Our Story and Mission
Welcome to The Rest Stop RV Resort & Laundry, formerly, Bailey’s RV Resort, your ideal destination for relaxation and adventure in the heart of Seneca, Kansas. Since 2006, the Baily’s have been dedicated to providing their guests with an exceptional camping experience that blends the beauty of nature with the comforts of modern amenities.
In October 2025, the Bailey’s sold their RV Park and it is now known as “The Rest Stop RV Resort & Laundry”. Despite the change in ownership, we are fully committed to the same values and quality as the Bailey’s and strive to continue to provide that exceptional service our guests have known and loved over the years.
Meet the New Owners
We’re Clint and Dana Schmelzle, and we’re excited to welcome you to our park. For over three decades, Seneca has been our home—we’ve raised our family here, built friendships, and supported local businesses. When the opportunity arose to take over the resort, we saw a chance to combine our passion for this community with our love of meeting new people.
Our goal is simple: to provide a welcoming stop for travelers where they can relax, recharge, and feel at home—whether they’re staying for a night, a week, or longer. We believe that friendly faces, clean facilities, and a personal touch make all the difference.
